Mark, 21, from Cleckheaton has joined the team as Trainee Technician having spent several years within the Construction Industry. Westgate has once again shown its commitment to Health and Safety by sending three more of its team to obtain their CSCS Health and Safety Cards. Having entered the latest group of Employees into the CSCS Scheme, we are delighted to say that all site and office based Operatives are now qualified to CSCS Level or above’.

On Saturday 24th April 2010 Westgate’s Ian Woods and Peter Armstrong walked the Shine Walking Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK. After weeks of gruelling training, the pair managed to complete the walk in just over 8 hours, a great achievement for both of them. Between Pete and Ian they managed to raise over £500 in sponsorship money for the event, money which will assist the Charity in continuing its fantastic work into the research of curing the world of cancer.
